7up_Math: preparation for National External Assessment after 7th grade

The first and most important exam in Bulgaria is the matriculation assessment (NVO – НВО) after 7th grade. Through it students compete for the high school to guide their path in life. This also coincides with a difficult, dynamic period in the development of any young person. Our courses are built on the principles of self-agency, motivation and support.

  • 30% of the course is aimed at deepening algebraic knowledge: expressions, fractions and powers, modeling with unknowns,…
  • 30% is aimed at deepening geometric knowledge: theorems, constructions, proof algorithms,..
  • 10% highlight curious and interesting topics and ideas and individual questions
  • 30% is just grinding down sample tests to perfection

+_Math for 5th, 6th grade

Early start on the road to successful middle school exams with these courses aimed at promising 5th and 6th grade students. A place for curious young minds with a lively atmosphere without the burden of grades and tests. At school, additional, yet important topics are omitted, due to the busy schedule and general class deficiencies. 
  • 50% of the course is aimed at deepening algebraic knowledge: expressions, degrees, modeling with unknowns,…
  • 30% is aimed at deepening geometric knowledge: principles, constructions, stereometry,…
  • 20% highlights curious and interesting topics and ways of thinking with which students can open new windows of knowledge: competitive tasks, proofs, progressions, ideas and questions,…

Mot_Math in English for 6th, 7th grade

This course taught in English is new for Bulgaria and suitable for children born outside Bulgaria and bilinguals. We combine basic to intermediate English skills with basic mathematical topics: from division of fractions to how long will it take SpaceX to reach Mars (at a Close Approach), why do we multiply negative numbers, what is a mot (it’s quite small) and much more…. If you want your children to be comfortable with English terms, understand explanations on the web and be ready for a foreign language high school, or not to let the gaps in Bulgarian prevent them from learning the beautiful language of mathematics, see our work schedule, in small groups of up to 4 pupils and individual attention, here.  

 

X_Math (10th grade) XL_Math (12th grade)

Courses for in-depth preparation for matriculation exams after the 10th and 12th grade. Progressions, trigonometry, symmetry, stereometry and probabilities. Everything about *metry you want to ask but are afraid to ask. Extensive discussion of the study material, solving sample tests and discussing them in small groups of up to 8 students here.

 

SAT_Math in English for university admission (11th, 12th grade)

For high school students who want to prepare for university entrance with the Suite of Assessments exam: functions, systems, analysis, critical thinking and logic, IQ tests, geometry and a lot more. Work schedule: here.  

 

Loop_Math for Computer Science (high school)
