General information about admission after the 4th grade in mathematics high schools, Sofia:
The following competitions /according to preliminary data/ are used for participation in the state plan-admission in class V for the 2025-2026 academic year of SMG and NPMG. General schedule of competitions.
- District round of the Mathematics Olympiad for IV grade;
- Spring math competition for students of the fourth grade;
- Mathematical competition for IV grade students “Mathematics for Everyone”;
Grading is carried out according to the formulas that are included in the Internal Rules for the State Admission Plan of NPMG and SMG, published on the electronic pages of both schools at the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year.
The transformed score points for each of the two schools are calculated taking into account the Rmax and/or Rmin parameters for the respective school and do not match those seen in the electronic system.
We remind you that after the child has been accepted to one of the two schools, you must enroll him if you are satisfied with the ranking.
If you enroll, your child’s admission is included.
In case you do not register, you lose the place (it is not saved for the second stage).
In case you wish to participate in the second stage of ranking, submit a new application through infopriem.mon.bg
Students who did not submit an application for participation in the first stage can also add applications for the second stage of ranking.
If your child does not meet the conditions for admission to either school, there is no point in submitting an application.
The mandatory indicators of the NPMG campaign are as follows:
District round of Mathematics Olympiad for class IV – Rmax – 21 points.
“Mathematics for Everyone” competition: Rmax – 38.50 points.
Spring math competition: Rmax – 46.50 points.
The mandatory indicators of the SMG campaign are the following:
District round of Mathematics Olympiad for class IV – Rmin – 1 point, Rmax – 21 points.
Competition “Mathematics for everyone”: Rmin – 2.50 points, Rmax – 40 points.
Spring math competition: Rmin – 0 points, Rmax – 49 points.
